Monday Mornings

We've been blessed with both having Mondays off, which has given us a reason to re-think mondays. No more pushing ourselves to get out of bed, no more dreading the beginning of the week, no more being negative nancy posting "eh, its monday" on our Facebook page...(you know what i'm talking about). Now, we love mondays. Love sleeping in. Love cuddling and talking about what we're going to do that morning, maybe make a fabulous breakfast and play a game of cards, or maybe we'll just go back to bed until he goes to school that evening. But either way, we'll choose to enjoy the day we were given... and every other day.

Besides, how could you not enjoy your morning when you're woken up by a face like that?

We're almost complete with our wall project, if you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm doing a little project for our front wall at our salon. Displaying photographs of beautiful hair in the morgan ashley style.  you can see the photoshoots we've done, here and here and here.  I'll show you the end look when we get our frames and pick and choose which photo's makes the cut, there's so many good ones! its gonna be a hard one...

Sneak Peek

Here is a little sneak peek of another shoot we did for the Salon. This is Rebecca. We found her at Anthropology. Can you tell?

Off to the side is Amy, another great stylist at the salon. We team tagged the hair for Rebecca, cut and color.

A Day In Atlanta

Robbie and I had to take my little sister back to the airport. All the way in Atlanta. Its a 2 hour drive from Birmingham so we decided to just make a trip out of it.

"I have a surprise for you, Joanna!" Robbie said excitedly when we arrived in Atlanta. What was it you say? Oh, he surprised me by taking me to the Coca Cola factory in Atlanta.

".........Um................."

 Thats what  I said. 

To my belief, I actually had a great time! We both did! There were 4D movies, commercial room, taste room, coke antiques, and other random stuff you can do there. Its a lot of fun and brings back memories of when I watched the coke commercials growing up.  Like the polar bear? remember him? And Santa Clause with the train during christmas? No? Just me? Ok.

FINE WE'RE NERDY LOSERS.

And I got to taste all the Coca Cola products from ALL over the world. South Africa had some good one's!

The best part was, we got to finish the day off with  eating a hot dog at the Braves game!

And peanuts of course :)
